It’s Menswear Monday on Ms Castro on a Motorbike, so I have to address that it’s less than a month to go until London Collections: Men descends on the world’s fashion capital.

Alexander McQueen AW13

The spring/summer 2014 season will kick off on the 16th of June with a schedule of catwalk shows, presentations and parties fit to rival the womenswear-focused London Fashion Week. The lineup is packed with heavy hitting menswear brands including Burberry, Alexander McQueen, Paul Smith, New York’s rag & bone and China's Kay Kwok.

A well-dressed man goes down a treat and British men do it particularly well. I’m looking forward to the final day when London’s mayor, Boris Johnson hosts a celebration in honour of history and heritage with a selection of tailor’s from Savile Row.

Sir Paul Smith, Tinie Tempah and Dylan Jones at London Collections: Men AW13

Organised by the British Fashion Council and chaired by GQ's Dylan Jones, the three-day event is supported by some pretty impressive names that both work in and champion the industry. The long list includes designer Tom Ford, musician Tinie Tempah, international model David Gandy and British comedian David Walliams.
