The UK Fashion & Textile Awards took place last night at London’s One Mayfair and here’s who you should be keeping an eye on:
Rising star Emma J Shipley won the ‘Hotel Indigo UKFT Rise Newcomer’ award for her luxury scarves.
‘Accessories Business of the Year’ went to one of London’s most celebrated independent jewellery brands, Tatty Devine.

The ‘OK Magazine UKFT Best Celebrity & Design Collaboration’ went to Very.co.uk and its partnership with Radio One DJ, Fearne Cotton.
The Cambridge Satchel Company took home the ‘Exporter of the Year’ award for its fast-growing global business and contemporary take on the traditional satchel.
Harris Tweed Hebrides was awarded both ‘Textile Business of the Year’ and ‘Manufacturer of the Year’.
One of my all-time favourite designers, Christopher Raeburn came up trumps in the ‘Designer Business of the Year’ category. Well done, Christopher!

British Olympian, Victoria Pendleton awarded longstanding British label Ted Baker with ‘Brand of the Year’.
The evening’s ‘Outstanding Achievement Award’ went to Swarovski and was collected by Nadja Swarovski herself.
HRH The Princess Royal, President of UKFT welcomed guests, while Myleene Klass was the evening’s compère.
