Macgraw - SAIL BOMB at MBFWA

Although it's in its 5th collection, it's macgraw's first solo show at MBFWA, for sisters Tess and Beth Macgraw. It's a crisp collection filled with their signature hand drawn prints and a look inspired by singer/model Lou Doillon (Jane Birken's daughter), so very GAMINE! Even the models were styled with that sexy Bardot long layered hair with bangs, so critically French.

I have been crazy about spots since Kusama Yayoi came into my world, and seeing her exhibition 'A DREAM I DREAMED' just recently in Shanghai, where I got spotted out in her 'obliteration room', brought it all back home. I was happy to see so many interpretations of my FAVOURITE circle. I'm loving the white jacquard barely there spots with obligatory organza shorts.

So, on to the huge spots cut in half on these great easy floaty summer dresses working different textures. Cotton or silk?

Soft tailored jackets worked perfectly with pistachio lime coloured spotted bikinis. They were a little vintage-y, but given a different allure by the thicker black horizontal stripes.

It's impossible not to mention the Peter Pan collars and dress shirt detailing on the tops. They really rocked that boyish look.
