London Collections: Men (LC:M) will showcase the best of British SS15 menswear from the 15th-17th June 2014. The New additions to the LC:M schedule this season include DKNY, Moschino, Joseph, Maharishi, Ede & Ravenscroft, Turnbull and Asser, Hentsch Man and Nicholas Kirkwood.
Sixty-eight designers will participate in shows and presentations and the Designer Showrooms will exhibit collections by 71 designers. Three official venues will be used for London Collections: Men: The Hospital Club, The Old Sorting Office and Victoria House.
Just in case you're wandering about why the men's collections are SO important, recent figures from Mintel show that the UK menswear market grew by 18% between 2008 and 2013 to reach £12.9 billion. Sales have grown almost 5% in the last year as clothing retailers have increasingly turned their attention to menswear. Mintel forecasts that the men’s fashion market will grow by 27% between 2013 and 2018 to reach £16.4 billion!
Within the 71 designers there are still designers who will remain firm FAVOURITES: Christopher Raeburn, Kit Neale, KTZ, James Long, Duchamp - their collections will NO DOUBT be setting London on fire, creatively.
