LC:M - The Cambridge Satchel Company

Fighting fit and back in fashion mode, my first day of London Collections Men was awesome. Unfortunately I didn't manage to catch a glimpse of my favourite ambassador Tinie Tempeh, but there certainly were a lot of designers to keep my heart fluttering. image The Cambridge Satchel Company’s first collection totally dedicated to men, had a couple pieces that wouldn't need that much muscle power to carry, so I’m not sure it will be just the men snapping up the fab bags. They have limited the collection to simple russet tones though to make them more male friendly. image Julie, the founder of the label, uncovered a map bag in a vintage shop and used this as her inspiration for the new collection. The designers have also created their own interpretations of a music bag, a cartridge bag and a camera bag, which was my absolute FAVOURITE. Priced at £185 the camera satchel would be brilliant for festivals, although the team at The Cambridge Satchel Company feel that multi pocket Batchel is going to be their best seller. image Needless to say the company’s British heritage feel has made them very popular globally, especially in Asia and the US, where the embossed pieces with initials go down a treat! image Fotography - Fred Yardley
