LFW15 - Renli Su revisited for AW15

A continuation of the ‘Little Women’ theme so successfully and creatively expressed in her SS15 collection, Renli Su’s AW15 collection delivers a similar image of a strong independent woman who manages to maintain her feminine edge.

(null) I love that she only uses mostly organic fabrics such as traditionally plain woven silks from China, hand-dyed block-painted organic cotton from India, and cotton and linen blends from Ireland.

(null) Mixing a touch of the Orient with hints of a traditional English style, Renli Su has chosen to use a fine jacquard-woven print pattern with floral motifs, (almost camouflage), which together serve to create a texturally rich and beautiful result, further elevating the elegance of the designs, while highlighting the free, bold and natural inspiration of the collection

(null) On my immediate wish list X-large woven Nepal Shawls and hand made felt hats that help in continuing a traditional craft that is sadly now in decline.
