Flared and straight pants plaited on the side - UFFFFF - so hot - want them NOW!! of course there are a couple of other pieces that wouldn't go amiss in my wardrobe the shiny lurex jumpsuit, the ornate moroccan belt, the shopper..... so it goes on..
Exotic, bright, chic and colourful are all words I’d use to describe the DIMITRI Spring / Summer 2016 collection. Using gorgeous hand-made fabrics from India and Morocco, on shorts, flowing kaftans, waistcoats and belts and bags.
This summery collection has a casual 70’s style boho sex appeal that wouldn’t be out of place at a festival. The ready-to- wear collection is feminine with silhouettes that accentuate and flatter all types of figure especially in the skirts, dresses and pants.
The carefree sophistication of the pieces is emphasised with the clever use of materials such as leather, silk and embroidery to create exciting textures, wrinkles and loads of fringes. The models were accessorised with great attention to detail using bags, belts and jewellery to complete the individual looks.
This season is the first time the label has created a capsule swimwear collection. The Oriental Beach Dreams selection made in cooperation with the Munich label UHLALÁ beachwear has clear Oriental and Indian influences with bright colours and innovative cuts and a Moroccan tile print.
Unsurprisingly so the show was packed to the tilt and with a couple of super sophisticated pieces in the longer dresses and cover ups you can see that his appeal works for all age groups and tribes.
