Gucci , Ferragamo or Hogan what to choose ?
In Venice I was caught out and realised that I could not utter another step in heels because they were getting caught in the cobble stone flanks and bridges and add to that I was getting lost at every turn meant even more then my high arches could take.
Specialising in the 70's and 80's, Luxury Vintage shop L' Armadio di Coco, ( they have three shops) was conveniently located round the corner from my accommodation on Campo Santa Maria del Giglio .
Luckily they had a selection of almost flat shoes in my size, although I did find it a little hard to make a decision. They do have a fantastic range of bags in pristine condition. Also some good pieces of Chanel from different eras, and Jumpers when Castelbajac was designing for Iceberg.
I visited two of their shops and found their staff to be incredibly helpful and knowledgable about the pieces they are selling which for me is always part of the experience. Their Vintage Lab shop does have menswear with some very nice jackets!
