Iva Burketova’s AW16 collection takes inspiration from freelance photographers Jakub Freye and Cirain Hertau, both of whom push themselves beyond the boundaries of comfort in a bid to capture the most amazing images of mountain and seascapes in usually pretty extreme conditions.

Oversized sweats -Odivi
Burketova’s prints on oversized sweats and coats are particularly spectacular and exciting, whilst still remaining feminine. She uses some of the photographers’ images directly on accessories and tops, creating a still beauty on a background of either skin or white fabric.

Photograph bodice on bare skin - Odivi
Her oversized, light weight duffle bags are made to – as she puts it – carry any wet clothing if caught out in an impromptu mountain situation! To be honest though, in rainy Prague, I thought it would have been perfect for my dripping wet clothes!

Sand body suits - Odivi
Utilising a colour scheme of brown, black and white, I was particularly drawn to the sandy body suits under cropped high-neck printed polos, which offered a fluttering glimpse of black lace on the hips.
