Jewellery and I go through phases. However, my rings are always with me. I can't sleep in them, so when they come off, I know it’sdefinitely time to close my eyes for the day! Putting them on in the morning comes after I do my make-up, and I love mixing silver rings with and all different types gold. Because I wear them all the time, they need to be comfortable; and like art, I have favourite pieces that come and go. There is one in particular however – an Elizabeth Gage Zodiac ring – that's with me all the time. Without it, I simply would not feel myself.
Elizabeth Gage has been making rings for 50 years and she first grabbed attention in the 80's when fashion changed and power suits for women required statement jewellery that matched the look. Her drum rings with zodiac signs were her first babies and that is what I am extremely lucky to have. She then carried on making the Templar rings, which are a tempered version of the Zodiac rings which might a little more comfortable for some.
Mine is 18carat gold, which is perfect, and I love this green Ettinger cufflink case its just ideal for putting my rings in, when I am ready to go to sleep for the night !
