I have heard say that the colours of the 70's were DRAB in comparison to the swinging psychedelia of the 60's. But I guess it's because of my colouring, my favourite designers , my favourite foods and my holistic view of MY world which make me in tune with the earth tones of the period such as avocado green, tarnished gold and Courreges orange.
This fantastic very late 60's early 70's Pucci swimsuit with a dramatic V neck and back has a sadly almost faded 100% Lycra stretch but is still one of my favourite treasure box pieces. More at home in Monaco or Marrakech I always take it out with trepidation we both have an aversion to the sun .
I love it's Fascinating matching caped tunic in brushed 100% cotton and whose colours are still proudly vibrant.
I love the fanciful and psychedelic print with the almost unrecognisable Emilio signature .. Orange peach, yellow stone and white ... Now tell me that this is drab ??? I like teaming it up with a Pescura Classic Scholl sandal with a heel - another late 60's Classic .
