Of course it seems NOW that summer has totally disappeared but at the time of Pamela's SS17 runway show it was still plausible and the sensation of Aperol Spritz had barely left our lips. In true Pamella Roland style, Pamella DeVos has channelled her artistic appreciation and creativity into an impeccable Spring/Summer 2017 Collection, which she presented at Pier 59 Studios, Chelsea Piers during NYFW.
As with all of her collections, Pamella took her inspiration from the world; this time from stunning and effortlessly chic Positano in southern Italy. In order to truly reflect and encapsulate the endless sunsets and pristine shorelines of Positano, the collection uses embroidered motifs reminiscent of the pearls, shimmering beads and coral that one might find in the Amalfi sea, can be seen decorating the collection.
The collection uses delicate, simple and sophisticated colours, such as crisp sage whites, shades of champagne, smoky greys, aquas, and of course black.
The delicate sensual femininity, elegance and strikingpolished beauty of the collection is further emphasised through creative use of textures, from sparkling sequins, intricate lace, beading chiffon, silk and tulle.
Silhouettes range from elaborately flowing dresses, bare shoulders and more minimal and streamlines trouser suits and minis.
Favourite amongst the Hollywood set just a few days later this stunning red carpet piece from show was worn by Amy Proehler at the Emmys.. Just even more stunning on her than the catwalk model.
