This time of the year there is that predictable blanket of greyness that permeates London. It's at this time that colour becomes an almost manic want, luckily the SS17 collections bring on a soothing tonic!
Any girl with sisters will understand the unavoidable clothes sharing that occurs, and it is this very concept that Sabinna – one of four sisters – explores in her SS17 collection. Sharing clothes while maintaining an air of individuality is a fine art, and of course there is the element of wearing clothes that are potentially too big or too small for you!
Sabinna explores this with shunken sleeves and dresses that are too long, as well as childlike prints of flowers with faces, and nostalgic messages such as “mine not yours.”
It’s an amalgamation of the styles of a younger sister, with the more evolved fashion sense of an older sister, and the collection perfectly reflects the awkwardness of existing in the limbo between childhood and adolescence.
Sabinna's see now and buy policy meant that I was able to bag some gorgeous printed pants to wear when no sun rays are available
