With Brachmann SS17 collection already on his website from today. It reminds me of the FW17 collection recently shown at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin.
As always great for innovations and pushing the boundaries of fashion, it was an interesting twist when BRACHMANN sent male bloggers such as Sami Slimane down the runway in the place of models for its A/W 2017 Collection “Explorer”.
The subtle and understated collection is classically elegant and offer a stylish, contemporary reinterpretation of men’s wear classics for the modern man who wants to make a timeless statement of sophistication.
Inspired by the bravery and daring of British polar explorer Sir John Franklin, who was the first to set sail to theArctic Northwest Passage, the pieces are minimal, practical and bold, in monochromatic colours, with sharp silhouettes and exquisite cuts and fits.
Natural fibres give the collection a luxury finish, while maintaining an aspect of contemporary urban chic.
The Berlin presentation was followed by BRACHMANN’s participation at the group exhibition of the Der Berliner Modesalon, and Paris Fashion Week Men’s . But for now the SS17 collection with those great shirts will sufise .
