I discovered Paula Knorr a couple of seasons ago it was a passionate discovery her pieces were dripping female sexuality, fluid and powerful and with myvfavourite metallic. I couldn't really imagine what else she could do keep her collections that exciting but she HAS!
For her Autumn Winter 17/18 collection, Paula Knorr used strong visual and haptic textures to both stimulate the senses and to continue her exploration of different female emotions and psyche.
These highly sensory textures totally balance themselves out in this clever collection, with paper-like leathers, combinedwith fluid silks and layered tulle. Many of the looks feature a shimmering translucent material, which creates the impression of metallic tinted skin. Knorr uses draped metallics in the collection to create depth and contrast.
The predominant colours are various shades of pink and soft pastel blues lending a feeling of femininity to the collection. The silhouettes give a sense of strength and female power to the collection, allowing for freedom and playful movement throughout the looks.
