In Milan but most probably Italy on the whole. I find it so hard to keep my eyes on the cloths and not the accessories. After all this is the land of the most glorious BAGS and SHOES.
I adore Alessandro Enriquez and his gorgeous bags are simply to die for. This season, for his autumn winter 2017/18 collection at Milan Fashion Week, Enriquez has created a range that is inspired by the different charms or icons found in the cultures and religious traditions of various countries around the world.
Having always collected these charms on his travels, Enriquez decided to incorporate them into his designs, creating a look that merges fantasy and magic, with a feel of tradition. Each of the bags is named after a Greek Goddess including Iris, Bia, Harmonia, Hebe, Pheme and Hera.
The bags come in all shapes and sizes including totes, backpacks, messanger bags and signature half-moon bags in calf and nappa leather. The collection also features a selection of clutches.
To emphasise the craftsmanship, the collection uses simple colours such as black, dark and powder blue, burgundy and emerald green.
In keeping with his typical pop-art style prints, the collection features pop drawings of the Goddesses, along with detailing in embroidery, prints and stitching.
