I am a great fan of knitwear and I remember seeing my first Mark Fast show SS14 I was so wowed , I couldnt believe knitwear could be that exciting and colourful. Then I saw his FW14 and was desperate to get a piece but couldnt ! Then he vanished !!

But now hes back!!! Because Innovation and breaking with the norm are two of the things I adore seeing at the seasonal fashion weeks around the world, Mark Fast is never one to disappoint, with his provocative designs and his outside the box patterns, textures and lengths its just pure pleasure to behold.

Well known for his unique approach to knitwear, Fast presented for FW17 another bold, empowering and otherworldly collection at London Fashion Week , which true to form, paid no attention to current trends, but instead took its own individual path, inspired by cinema, art and sculpture.

Flowing from regal purples, through dusty pinks and into vibrant oranges, the collection also uses black interspersed with clean whites and palest blues. The materials and embellishments such as heavy fringing, ruffles and feathers creates a sense of movement and texture.

I definitely think this collection was a fabulous way to come back , and I adore how the pieces sculpt the bodies of the models, bringing a tangible feminine strength and power.
