This time of the year there is that predictable blanket of greyness that permeates London. It's at this time that colour becomes an almost manic want, luckily the SS17 collections bring on a soothing tonic!Read More
Despite the slightly bizarre name of the collection, Emre Erdemoğlu's Spring Summer 2016 'Penguin' fashion show was absolutely spectacular. Maybe the ultra thin transparencies that shimmered down the catwalk or the capes cut short tops reminded me of penguins flapping. Though the colours glacial blues and heavenly pinks of course were undeniably arctic.
Attended by a host of well known personalities from the fashion and arts scenes, the 120 piece strong menswear collection was made up of a fabulous selection of short suits, oversized jackets, and print detailed socks.
The cute little penguin motif can be seen throughout the collection printed in small repeated designs on trousers, jackets and shorts.
Made up of a seasonal selection of light pastel blues, pinks and purples, the collection was vivid and daring, while also being highly wearable. Models were accessorized with statement sunglasses and effortless sports shoes from Puma.

The collection is bold and playful, preferring every time to hug and accentuate those fabulous curves rather than hide them. The dresses are sexy, sassy yet sophisticated and the use of bright, vibrant colours really works with the designs.
Second rule: COLOUR Make sure it works for you!
Hubbard doesn’t only sticks to en vogue patters and cuts such as the two piece, high-waisted skirt and crop top ensemble, she also branches out into some more unique cuts and shapes with mid length dresses and off the shoulder numbers
Third rule : A dress in one colour needs to be BROKEN
Fourth rule - Yes you can show a bit of SKIN!
