I was a fan of Thierry Mugler from very early on. I think it must have been the unique structure of his clothing –so different from the sea of designers that were beautifully ornate and feminine – that first got my attention. The Mugler signature look is a jacket style top with a masculine cut, andhe always highlights the waist and hips to create the perfect female body. I also admired the touch of cruelty in the style of Cruella de Ville in his pieces and my Mother was also a huge fan of his first boutique whichopened in Paris in 1978.The glorious spot was called Victoires, and was designed by Andree Putnam.Read More
