If you are one of those people who find Christmas shopping as irksome as counting sheep at night, fret no longer because I have found the perfect antidote to your troubles – The TEA shop in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
The shop is housed in the Tenerife Espacio de las Artes (Tenerife Space of Arts)building, which was originally designed by Swiss architecture firm Herzog & de Meuron. The museum is hometo the contemporary museum Instituto Óscar Domínguez(Óscar Domínguez Institute); the Biblioteca Insular Alejandro Cioranescu(Alejandro Cioranescu Island Library) and the Centro de Fotografía Isla de Tenerife (Center for Photography island of Tenerife).
Choosing gifts for a family consisting of two grandparents ;two teenage children, a couple of nephews and a boyfriend was easy at TEA, and with the vast array of options available, I was done in the space of 30 minutes.

The shop has variety of fascinating books from artist’sbiographies, to the latest rage in colouring books. Something exciting enough to tempt anyone away from their iPhone or gaming console!
This beautiful tree, sculpture by Julio Nieto can be inscribed with a meaningful saying for that someone special.
Of course there is so much more too choose from and the staff are multilingual and incredibly helpful and of course there is totally free WIFI.
