Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie used to go there during the Cannes Film Festival back in the glory days of team Brangelina, and although the power couple have now parted and gone their separate ways, the restaurant remains as a testament to exquisite taste, high-end glamour and the utter perfection of French cuisine.
Located in the charming side streets behind uber chic La Croisette, Restaurant L’Affable is small and cosy inside, with a simple, minimalistic design that keeps the clients focused on what is most important – the food!
And what an amazing selection of delectable dishes they have on offer! Meat eaters will love the beautifully juicy steak cooked to perfection and served with pureed potatoes and sautéed vegetables. Pescetarians and seafood lovers can try the fabulously aromatic curried prawns or seabass, and of course – being a French restaurant – there is an incredibly selection of cheeses for desert, or alternatively for those with a sweet tooth, the famous soufflé!
Service is subtle and sophisticated, the wine list is impeccable and the prices – well Cannes has never been known for its budget appeal, so go with a full wallet and a readiness to empty it!
